Job Descriptions
Responsibilities: Monitor and actively steer Shipments - Effectively and efficiently execute the operation of assigned shipments, including monitoring, handling, control and reporting in the relevant IT systems - Enter data into the relevant IT systems, incl. Manifesting, Weight & Balance entries etc. - Trouble-shoot in case of irregularities (late shipments, lost shipments), incl. contacting various airline stations and transport, clearing and handling partners world-wide - Actively trace missing cargo - Pro-actively inform customers in case of irregularities - Timely obtain /transmit accurate shipping documents from/to customers and all concerned parties to complete assigned tasked - Actively monitor, track and follow up to make sure all shipments complete as planned. - Handle all associated e-mail and phone communication Provide Customer Service and ensure associated Operations - Provide customer service, obtaining requests, working out transport solutions (routings, partners, feasibility, cost,…) and quote to the customer - Ensure that shipments are carried out in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations - Ensure order fulfillment, establishing the transport plan, booking and monitoring the shipments, ensuring Proof-pf-Delivery and initiating the billing to the Customer - Provide service recovery in case when initial agreed TOA is endangered, taking measures to recover the shipment as good as possible - Manage customer complaints and monetary claims Perform General Service Tasks - Actively communicate internally based on mails, calls and messages from customers, handling departments - Actively answer and follow up external mails, telephone calls and messages - Document customer contact and -feedback - Assist in billing documentation when necessary - In event that the circumstances require tasks which are not listed above, highlight this to the superior - Any other task reasonably assigned by the superior
Qualifications
  1. Male / Female
  2. Bachelor's Degree in related fields
  3. Fluent in English (TOEIC 650+)
  4. Ability for shift work; early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
  5. Good PC user know-how
  6. Team player
