Job Descriptions

- Manage technical tasks internally to achieve Customers expectations regarding, cost and lead-time - Set up a system to systematically monitor price fluctuations based on customer (annual price reviews for existing products) - Compile and analyze existing quotes including material, manufacturing, freight & duty costs and company margin. - Liaise with purchasing to negotiate pricing and lead-time and identify new sources for existing products - Develop and implement a localization plan for Electronics, Mechanical, Plastic parts, and PCB components. - Organize and Coordinate samples where required of alternates & push for approval - Proactively search for solutions to reduce price impact to customer (i.e. internal services; alternative suppliers etc.) - Identify EOL parts and liaise with Product engineers to mitigate risks for customer - Liaise with customer service team and internal departments i.e. purchasing, product engineer, logistic, process engineer, test engineer, accounting, etc. - Support continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and processes, identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities - Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization (manage Project budget) - Proactively analyze customer accounts and products to find opportunities for cost and lead-time reduction - Work with quoting engineer to find overlap and improvement opportunities in established products and new product quotations from existing customers.

Qualifications

Technical bachelor's degree (Electronics Engineering of benefit)
5 years and up experience with BOM (bill of material)/ data processing in EMS
Ability to read and understand technical data (BOM, assembly instructions, 3D drawings)
PCBA + box build product and component understanding
P&L & costing model experience of a plus
Good English communication skills and communication skills to liase with other departments (Product engineer, Purchasing, Process Engineering, Customer Service etc.)
MS Office, SAP or other ERP system, Silicon Expert, Excel knowledge mandatory
