Job Descriptions
Accountabilities: 1.Reliability Excellence (50%) 2.Continuous Improvement (30%) 3.Talent Management (10%) 4.Environmental, Health & Safety Leadership (10%) Responsibilities: 1.Responsible for driving the improvement of plant reliability and champion defect elimination efforts through engineered solutions. 2.This position will apply knowledge and experience to ensure continuous improvement to optimize the company's physical assets and maintenance and reliability processes and strategies. 3.The Reliability Engineer will support the continued implementation and leadership of the Reliability Excellence process. 4.Responsible for supporting the Technology / Plant Operations team by developing functional strategies, setting new standards, and developing and implementing new processes that have a short to mid-term impact on the organization and achieve the mission, vision, and goals of the organization.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and holding Electrical Engineering license.
  2. At least 7 years of Maintenance or Reliability experience in a chemical manufacturing facility.
  3. Knowledge of maintenance strategies and reliability management. Experience using Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques, cause analysis, and predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared, acoustic emissions, tribology, etc.
  4. Knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing and kaizen principles.
  5. Training in Weibull, RCI, FMEA, RCM, RBI, Modeling, etc. facilitation would be helpful.
  6. Good knowledge of safety, electrical and fire protection codes and standards, i.e., NEC and IEC standards.
  7. Strong customer focus and service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with employees and vendors at all levels in a cross-cultural setting.
  8. Able to work combination of office and outside process areas, some travel required.
  9. Good command of English is preferred.
