Job Descriptions
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Operation Officer to oversee restaurant operations, primarily focusing on the kitchen but not limited to it, in our Chinese chain restaurant. The Operation Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of service and quality. Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Thai is a must, with Cantonese being an added advantage. 1.Kitchen Operations Management: - Supervise and coordinate kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency. - Monitor inventory levels of food ingredients and supplies, and coordinate with the Purchasing Officer for timely replenishment. - Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen operations, including food safety and hygiene practices. 2.Front-of-House Support: - Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and dining areas, facilitating efficient service delivery. - Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed customer expectations. 3.Staff Training and Development: - Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members to support their professional growth and development. 4.Quality Control: - Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas, equipment, and storage facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Monitor food presentation and taste to maintain high-quality standards and address any issues or concerns promptly. 5.Multilingual Communication: - Communicate effectively with staff and customers in English, Mandarin, and Thai to ensure clear understanding and smooth operations. - Utilize Canton
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in restaurant operations, with a focus on kitchen management.
  3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  4. Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Thai is a must. Cantonese language skills will be an added advantage.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
  7. Willingness to travel overseas and work in a multicultural environment.
