Job Descriptions
1. Lead the identification and evaluation of new suppliers across various categories, emphasizing cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability. 2. Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to optimize costs while maintaining or improving product and service quality. 3. Conduct thorough supplier assessments, including financial stability, production capabilities, and pricing structures, to ensure competitiveness and sustainability. 4. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings targets without compromising on quality or service levels. 5. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance cost-effectiveness through supplier rationalization, consolidation, and process optimization. 6. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing initiatives with organizational objectives. 7. Stay abreast of market trends, industry dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and competitive advantages. 8. Drive cross-functional initiatives to streamline procurement processes, improve efficiency, and maximize value across the supply chain.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Proven track record of successfully sourcing new suppliers and achieving cost savings in a strategic sourcing or procurement role.
  3. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on driving cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
  4. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Excellent analytical abilities to assess supplier capabilities, pricing structures, and market trends.
  6. Experience working in a technical environment with knowledge of engineering principles and drawing requirements would be advantage.
  7. Proficiency in sourcing tools, contract management systems, and data analytics software.
