We are expanding our team at our headquarters in Bang Sare, Thailand and are offering the following job:
Team lead Purchasing.
Crazy Factory (www.crazy-factory.com) is the world's leading online store for piercing and fashion jewelry. We employ several hundred people globally and are expanding in a promising market environment.
We offer a huge selection of high-quality products at attractive prices and place great emphasis on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. To strengthen our team, we are searching for a committed and experienced employee in the purchasing department at our company headquarters. Your future workplace will be a modern and bright office complex in Bang Sare, a leisurely suburb of Pattaya, just a 2-hour drive from Bangkok. The advantages of nearby major cities are complemented by beautiful natural landscapes and picturesque beaches right on our doorstep.
As part of the purchasing team, you will be largely responsible for the strategic direction and operational aspects of the purchasing department. You will work closely with management and be in close contact with our suppliers, monitor delivery dates and ensure optimum stock management.
Your tasks:
- Co-development and implementation of the purchasing strategy
- Management of the product portfolio
- Selection and evaluation of suppliers
- Negotiation of purchasing conditions
- Monitoring delivery dates and quality
- Optimization of warehousing and inventory management
- Further development of purchasing processes
Qualifications
- Completed studies in the field of business administration, purchasing or alternatively several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the consumer goods industry
- Business English proficiency
- Analytical and strategic mindset
- Sound knowledge of data processing, ideally Microsoft Excel
- Team-oriented and communicative personality with organizational skills
- Willingness to take on new and exciting challenges
- Knowledge of piercing and fashion jewelry is preferable, but not essential
