Peterson Projects & Solutions [Thailand] Co., Ltd. is looking for an Consultant Climate and Carbon to support their consultancy team. For this position, Peterson is seeking a pro-active, English-speaking professional. As a Consultant Climate and Carbon you will support the development and implementation of both local and international projects. Through your work you will get in touch with many different organizations to support them with their Sustainability and Carbon ambitions. In this position you will play a critical role in developing this service line for PPS Thailand together with other colleagues. You will be helping our clients to realize their goals related to LCA analyses and Carbon footprint assessments. Furthermore, helping to develop carbon credit projects and supporting clients with the implementation of certification standards (related to carbon, biomass, and recycling) will also be part of the work. Implementing projects will be a mix of trainings, assessments, and the implementation of relevant standards. You will do this work together with our local and international team of experts. You will report to the team lead and managing director. This position requires you to have good English writing and oral communication skills and to be able to quickly respond to requests. We also expect you to collaborate with colleagues on existing projects where support is required (both locally and internationally). This means that you will be working on a variety of projects across different sectors relating to LCA, Carbon footprint, Carbon credits, and certification implementation. The person should be flexible and willing to support on different projects when needed.

Qualifications

University degree (master) in a relevant discipline (environmental engineering, industrial engineering, public policy, environmental science, business administration).
Knowledge in LCA, Carbon footprint, Carbon credit and sustainability.
Knowledge in ISO14065, ISO14064, ISO14040/44, VERRA, GHG Protocol or TGO Scheme is a plus.
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills and problem solver.
A minimum of 2-3 year’s work experience in a relevant field is considered an advantage.
Willingness to cooperate in both local and international teams.
Experience with sustainability, Carbon credit is a plus
Willingness to actively support in the development of the business.
Can-do attitude and enthusiasm, ability to work quickly and efficiently, organization skills, and attention to details.
Fluent in English (and Thai).
Good English reporting skills.
