Job Descriptions
-Plan, coordinate, and control production schedules and workflows to meet customer demand and export deadlines. -Ensure manufacturing processes comply with medical device regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA requirements). -Supervise daily operations across multiple production lines, including mechanical assembly, electronics integration, and final packaging. -Lead and develop production teams to ensure high efficiency, accuracy, and motivation. -Work closely with QA/QC, R&D, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to ensure quality and continuous improvement. -Monitor production KPIs (output, OEE, downtime, waste) and prepare performance reports. -Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies. -Oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment and assembly tools. -Identify production issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). -Ensure a safe working environment and full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. -Support audits from regulatory bodies, customers, and internal compliance teams. -Control and manage production-related costs and resource allocation efficiently.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field preferred
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in production supervision, preferably in the medical device industry.
  3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  4. Proficiency in production planning and scheduling
  5. Knowledge of quality control systems and regulations (e.g., ISO 13485)
  6. Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  8. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  9. Fluent in English. Japanese language skills are a plus
