Job DescriptionsKey Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and requisitions.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing, and supplier availability.
Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and establish new vendor connections.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, warehouse and logistics) to align procurement activities with business needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and procurement best practices.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices, and supplier databases.
Resolve any issues related to delayed shipments, defective goods, or supplier disputes.
