Job Accountabilities
1.Perform EHS assessments and suggest preventive/corrective actions based on observations while striving for the development of ideas, programs and initiatives for continuous improvement in the EHS area.
2.Review accident reports and analyze accident data to identify patterns of injury and to determine whether adequate investigation was done to determine if unsafe conditions contributed to the accident; advise departments of trends in injuries and proper safety procedures that may result in reduction of injuries; provide departments with information that will allow them to be pro-active in reducing accidents and improving safety
3.Work with HR to plan, develop and conduct EHS training programs to support the policies and procedures designed to maintain compliance while providing guidance, training and technical support to supervisors, employees and the safety committee on the behavioral safety process and other continuous improvement techniques as they relate to environmental health and safety issues
4.Provide daily equipment maintenance/repair service to production on time. Ensure production keep running without equipment block. Set up the periodic preventive maintenance plan for the machines and lead the PM implementation.
5.Assist in the development, drafting, implementation and compliance of a Southco EMS based upon compliance with ISO 14001.
