Job Descriptions
Operate and monitor CNC machines to ensure production of high-quality parts. Set up and adjust CNC machine parameters according to production requirements. Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure precision in machining processes. Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and machines to maintain efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or irregularities during production. Maintain accurate logs of machine operations, adjustments, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and deadlines. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Achieve production targets efficiently and consistently with minimal machine downtime. Maintain high-quality standards in all parts produced. Ensure a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production processes. Machine uptime percentage. Number of production errors or defects. Adherence to deadlines and production schedules. Efficiency and speed in machine setup and operation. Safety record and compliance with company procedures.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certification in CNC machining is a plus.
  2. Proven experience as a CNC operator or in a similar role in manufacturing.
  3. In-depth knowledge of CNC machine operations and programming.
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  5. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  6. Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
  7. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  8. Experience with CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
  9. Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance procedures.
  10. Ability to operate a variety of CNC machines (e.g., lathes, mills).
  11. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
