Job Descriptions
We are a newly established, boutique detoxification and rehabilitation wellness retreat located in a serene part of Thailand. With a maximum capacity of 5 residential clients, our centre offers a highly personalised and holistic approach to addiction recovery and wellness. Our clientele may be experiencing active withdrawals, early recovery, or long-term healing journeys. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Doctor (MD) to join our clinical team. You will play a central role in overseeing the medical care of our clients, providing initial assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, prescribing medications and supervising detox protocols. You will be supported by a small but capable team of nursing staff. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of incoming clients - Develop and implement detoxification and withdrawal management plans - Monitor and adjust treatment as necessary during clients’ stay - Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and holistic practitioners to ensure integrated care - Ensure clinical protocols meet safety and ethical standards - Provide emergency response if required Requirements: - Licensed Medical Doctor (MD) eligible to practice in Thailand - Experience in addiction medicine, detoxification, or related clinical environments strongly preferred - Understanding of withdrawal symptoms, psychopharmacology, and mental health co-morbidities - Compassionate, non-judgmental, and client-centered approach - Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team - English proficiency (Thai language skills an asset) Preferred Qualifications: - Certification or training in addiction medicine or detoxification - Previous work in wellness retreats, private clinics, or recovery centers - Familiarity with international clientele and cultural sensitivity A unique opportunity to be part of a visionary wellness retreat from the ground up.
Qualifications
  1. Valid Thai medical license
  2. Appropriate Medical Degree
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience, with at least some experience in a management or leadership role.
  4. Strong knowledge of medical practice and healthcare regulations.
