Job Descriptions
•Oversee and manage import and export operations, including both local and international shipments, with a thorough understanding of customs procedures (Import Entry & Export Entry). •Handle end-to-end procurement and logistics processes: issue purchase orders, manage vendor relationships, coordinate with freight forwarders, classify goods (HS Code), and prepare relevant shipping documents and FDA applications. •Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and other related government authorities. •Collaborate with internal departments to gather requisitions and specifications, review purchase requests, and verify order accuracy. •Source potential suppliers, obtain and compare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times to ensure the best value for the organization. •Monitor and follow up on supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and compliance with contractual terms. •Communicate effectively with internal requestors and external suppliers/subcontractors to maintain seamless supply chain coordination. •Coordinate with logistics service providers, including couriers and freight forwarders, as well as internal BOI and Import-Export teams to ensure accurate documentation and customs clearance, including identifying any applicable tax/duty exemptions. •Control and track procurement and logistics costs per project, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. •Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve delivery lead time.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or related fields.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in supply chain and logistics operations, including import/export procedures and procurement.
  3. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, HS codes, and customs procedures.
  4. Experience working with BOI regulations is a plus.
  5. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  7. Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written); as well as fluency in English.
