Job Descriptions
This position is responsible for providing correct Die insert (Pin) for mass production. Transfer, Verification and Control Pin cutting program from ME department. He or She will be ensuring pin quality for mass production. Note: Pin use for produce “Mold” as a product which this “Mold” will use for IOLs making. 1. Conduct Die insert (to be called “Pin”) making for mass production by transferring Pin profile from manufacturing engineer department and set up cutting program. 2. To set up verification method for ensuring Pin quality before mass production. 3. To control Pin making machine (ex. ULG) and measuring equipment (ex. NC3P) related to Pin making to be ready for use without unacceptable variation. 4. Verification and improving the Pin treatment method (Washing and Plasma Coating ) to ensure Pin appearance quality before mass production. 5. Data Analysis of all parameters Pin relatively with the quality defect of SP2 IOL with statistically. 6. Consider engineering improvement from transferring pin profile under QMS control. 7. Ensure process control has good GMP. Lead PFMEA update to prevent any mistaken control from PCP, SOP, WI. Co-training w/ process owner to transfer necessary knowledge to all employees. 8. Support internal and external audit/ inspection to meet GMP practice. 9. Comply and adhere to the Regulatory, Quality and Environment-Health-Safety requirement. 10. To be assigned work as required by superior.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
  2. 1 to 5 years of working experience in manufacturing control, warehouse control, or Die Insert-related industry.
  3. Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of ISO 13485 and validation approaches is an advantage.
  5. Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation abilities.
  6. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Familiarity with basic office software and industry-specific tools such as Minitab.
  7. Logical thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  8. Experience in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
  9. Ability to multi-task and manage workload systematically under tight deadlines.
  10. Strong teamwork and solid understanding of production and cleanroom control environments.
  11. Detail-oriented, process-focused, and able to prioritize effectively.
  12. Strong integrity, motivation, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  13. Positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
