Key Responsibilities; • Design, develop, and maintain test software using LabView, Python or C++ on Linux-based systems to validate product, embedded systems. • Develop and optimize automated test scripts tailored for photonic components, such as Optical Switching, OSA, EDFA, VOA, and optical transceivers, to ensure high performance and reliability. • Integrate test solutions with GCP cloud infrastructure for data analysis. • Collaborate with photonic engineers, software developers, and hardware teams to define test requirements, develop test plans, and troubleshooting issues specific to products. • Leverage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) to streamline development. • Analyze test results for product systems, providing actionable insights to improve performance, signal integrity, and system functionality. • Document test procedures, software designs, and product system configurations to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in LabView and Python for developing test software on Linux systems, with applications in photonic equipment testing. • Demonstrated experience with operating system fundamentals, including embedded systems, user-level applications, networking, and Linux environments. • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure for data processing. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based development environments (e.g., GitHub, GitLab). Soft Skills: • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in the context of photonic system testing. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including photonic and optical engineers. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical, Engineering, Photonics, or related discipline
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in system software development, with a focus on test engineering for photonic or optical systems.
Fluent speaking, and well-written skills in English
