Key Responsibilities: 1. Cost Estimation: - Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and contingencies, based on project specifications and market data. - Analyze project scope and identify potential cost drivers to create accurate cost breakdowns. - Use cost estimating software to produce detailed cost projections. 2. Cost Control: - Track project expenditures against the approved budget, monitor variances, and identify areas for concern. - Analyze cost trends and take corrective actions to prevent cost overruns. - Conduct regular budget reviews with project teams to discuss status and identify cost-saving opportunities. 3. Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare detailed cost reports for stakeholders, including updates on budget, cost variances, and forecasts. - Analyze cost data to spot trends and provide insights to support decision-making. 4. Collaboration: - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other departments to ensure accurate cost data collection and analysis. - Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain cost breakdowns and negotiate pricing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
In-depth knowledge of construction practices, estimating methods, and cost control principles.
Proficiency in construction cost estimation and management software/tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
Experience in contract administration and managing change orders.
Proficiency in English.
