Job Descriptions
Plans and supervises shipments, schedules routes, dispatching, and tracking.
- Handles logistics software and tracking orders by functional systems.
- Coordinates with warehouse team, customer service team, and outside organization.
- Monitors transportation costs and designs cost effective methods.
- Ensures compliance with shipping regulations and transport regulations.
- Conducts safety audits and organizes training for drivers and shipment planners.
- Provides and suggests suitable transport and service for customers.
- Ensures vehicles are properly maintained and scheduling maintenance and repair.
- Manages transport subcontractors and ensures service level and safety complied with the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Solid knowledge of supply chain or transport methods.
- Familiar with multimodal transportation.
- Understand cost and benefits.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Complex problem-solving.
- Customer service skills.
- Attention to details.
