The Senior IT Application Support professional is responsible for providing advanced technical support for enterprise applications. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues, leading and managing the IT application support team, and ensuring the availability and performance of applications. The Senior IT Application Support professional collaborates with development teams, creates and maintains support documentation, conducts training sessions, implements support best practices, and ensures compliance with IT policies and standards.
• Provide advanced technical support for enterprise applications.
• Lead and manage the IT application support team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
• Monitor application performance and ensure availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to address application issues.
• Create and maintain support documentation and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions for users and junior staff.

• Stay updated with the latest application support trends and technologies.

Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in IT application support.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of application support processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and providing technical support.
- Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and mentor junior support staff.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Ability to stay current with application support trends and technologies.
