Job Descriptions
1. Stategic Procurement & Supplier Management 1.1 Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers of raw materials (emulsifiers, surfactants, preservatives, actives, etc.). 1.2 Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to optimize cost-efficiency 1.3 Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, compliance) and implement improvements. 2. Technical & Regulatory Compliance 2.1 Understand raw material specifications (INCI names, TDS, chemicals breakdown, COA, etc.) to ensure suitability for cosmetic formulations. 2.2 Ensure compliance with global regulations (IFRA51, Halal, REACH, etc.). 2.3 Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance to assess new raw materials under purchasing terms and conditions. 3. Operational & Analytical Support 3.1 Assist in demand forecasting, inventory management, and cost analysis. 3.2 Generate reports for management. 3.3 Support the Purchasing Manager in data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  2. At least 5 year experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in cosmetics, chemicals, or FMCG
  3. 1. Procurement & Supply Chain Expertise (Knowledge)
  4. 1.1 Experience in raw material procurement (in Cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals would be an advantage).
  5. 1.2 Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  6. 1.3 Strong Negotiation and contract management skills.
  7. 2. Analytical & Financial Acumen (Knowledge)
  8. 2.1 Proficient in cos analysis, budgeting, and market trend evaluation (Commodities focus).
  9. 2.2 Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
