Job Descriptions
Role Expectations - Be the facilitator and focal point for support for the School’s digital innovation and learning initiatives consistent with the School Improvement plan and the School’s 5-year Growth Strategy - Follow the School’s digital innovation and learning roadmap and lead small projects. - Has a firm grounding in digital media and marketing. - Co-plan and facilitate the delivery of key initiatives from the digital innovation and learning roadmap - To orchestrate within the first half of the first term an effective transition of previous duties and responsibilities - To include at least within the first year, migration to a new progression management and reporting system and facilitate a whole school management system. - From the second term onwards provide methods for feedback and teacher enablement on pilot technologies and platforms. - Coordinate between the ongoing digital transformation working group and the facilities working group to ensure the innovative and effective implementation of digital technologies and platforms in new learning spaces - Provide regular, current and action-oriented status reporting to DILC
Qualifications
  1. Undergraduate degree or better
  2. Fluent English speaker
  3. At least 5 years experience in an admin or technical role, of which at least 2 years have been in an international school setting
  4. Deep personal understanding of, or an evident willingness to learn, the practices and impact on outcomes of Values-based Education in an international school setting
  5. A background in the uses and applications of contemporary digital technologies fully contextualised to widely-recognized curricula in an international school setting
  6. A track record working in or project managing innovative digital programs in an international school setting
  7. Self-initiating and a passionate advocate for change
  8. Outcomes-focused with the capability to provide reliable data-based progression evidence
  9. A passion for lifelong learning and continuous professional development
  10. Demonstrated project planning capability
  11. Superior (spoken, listening, and written) communication skills differentiated across audiences from board-level to junior practitioners and across functional domains
  12. Broad understanding of the best practices and effective use of contemporary digital technologies and methodologies in international school settings globally
