Job Descriptions
Business: Logistics (New Company Set-Up) Location: Amata City, Chonburi Work Hours: Mon-Fri 08:30-17:30 Reporting Line: Japanese President / Japanese Manager / Thai Vice President This is a hands-on HR Generalist role. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the full spectrum of HR functions, including but not limited to: HR Operations & General Administration 1. Serve as the main point of contact for all HR matters 2. Implement HR procedures, policies, and systems from day one 3. Set up employee records and HR documentation in compliance with labor laws Payroll & Compensation 1. Establish payroll systems and processes 2. Manage salary calculation, attendance records, and statutory deductions 3. Coordinate with finance or external vendors for monthly payroll execution Recruitment & Onboarding 1. Coordinate with hiring managers to plan workforce needs 2. Handle job postings, screening, interviews, and offer negotiations 3. Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and initial training programs Employee Benefits & Welfare 1. Design and implement benefits programs (insurance, allowances, leave policies, etc.) 2. Administer benefits claims and resolve employee inquiries 3. Propose improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and retention Labor Law Compliance & Policy Development 1. Ensure company HR practices comply with Thai labor laws 2. Draft and update employee handbook, rules & regulations 3. Handle government reporting and labor audits when required Employee Relations & Performance Management 1. Provide guidance on employee issues and disciplinary actions 2. Facilitate performance evaluations and feedback processes 3. Promote a positive work culture and handle grievance matters with fairness Collaboration & Reporting 1. Work closely with group HR teams (e.g., Vuteq Thai) for shared standards and guidance 2. Regularly report HR metrics and progress to top management (Japanese or Thai supervisors)
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
  2. Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or manufacturing industry
  3. Experience handling HR functions independently is a must
  4. Strong knowledge of Thai Labor Law and standard HR practices
  5. Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a startup-like environment
  6. Ability to communicate professionally with both Thai and Japanese stakeholders
  7. Experience with HRIS and payroll software is a plus
