Job Descriptions
-Coordinate, monitor, and follow up on quality audits or risk assessments of production processes conducted by external parties (e.g., customers, regulatory agencies).
-Coordinate and manage quality system improvement programs in collaboration with customers upon request.
-Control, maintain, advise, and verify the appropriateness and effectiveness of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
-Participate in on-site audits to reduce non-conformities or risks that may lead to customer complaints.
-Develop training materials to enhance employees’ knowledge and competencies.
-Assign tasks, provide guidance, support capability development, and evaluate the performance of subordinates.
-Conduct training sessions to ensure employee understanding of quality systems such as 5S, GMP, HACCP, ISO 15378, and BRC.
-Oversee all activities related to the HACCP system.
-Manage and control the Pest Control program.
-Participate in root cause analysis of customer complaints related to product quality and safety.
-Supervise, assign, mentor, and assess the performance of team members
-Perform tasks to support organizational compliance and achievement of company objectives.
-Perform other tasks and assignments as directed by the Quality Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality, QA, QC, or quality systems, preferably in the plastic manufacturing industry
- Experience in quality auditing or root cause analysis with corrective and preventive actions
- Experience in food safety risk assessment
- Knowledge of ISO 15378, BRC, HACCP, and GMP standards
- Understanding of plastic products and production processes
- Familiarity with company products and services
- Experience in internal audit execution
- Awareness of laws and regulations related to food safety
- Knowledge of plastic product testing and inspection standards (if any)
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written communication skills with accuracy and completeness
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with both internal and external parties
- Persuasive and trustworthy communication skills
