Job Descriptions
🧾 Key Responsibilities: Oversee and execute all financial and accounting operations, including monthly closing, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records in compliance with local tax laws and international accounting standards (IFRS or GAAP). Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Manage and optimize cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Handle tax computation, VAT returns, withholding tax, and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities. Monitor inventory valuation, costing, and reconciliation with supply chain and warehouse teams. Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Utilize and maintain accounting systems such as SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or other ERP platforms. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (HR, Procurement, Sales) on financial implications and compliance. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
  1. Nationality: Myanmar (Burmese) with valid work permit (if working outside of Myanmar).
  2. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or ACCA is a plus.
  3. Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance, preferably in FMCG, trading, manufacturing, or cross-border operations.
  4. Strong understanding of Myanmar and/or Thai accounting and tax regulations.
  5. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); ability to communicate professionally across teams.
  6. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial reporting tools or ERP systems.
  7. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  8. Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently and under pressure.
