Job Descriptions
Part 1 – Primary roles of the job which are measurable and may be used as part of OKRs. •Provide full spectrum of monthly payroll processing and associated activities including payroll calculation, execution (salaries, leave, incentives and other compensation calculations), submission of statutory contribution (PIT, SSF, WCF) and reconciliation. •Ensure on time processing of the scheduled payroll runs. •Solve issues and errors that blocks the payroll run from completion. •Timely handle payroll-related inquiries or requests from employees and meet SLA requirements. •Handle reconciliation process with associated reports, ensure compliance and accuracy of the payroll, ensure Posting to Finance process payments timely execution including bank file. •Prepare payroll related reports including payroll summary, sharing cost and other ad-hoc report. •In charge of yearly statutory related submission and annual reporting. •Responsible to monitor country statutory and legal changes and ensure the changes reflect on the payroll. This includes testing payroll system and moving the changes to production system. •Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information and maintain appropriate documentation and filing systems. Part 2 – Secondary roles which supports the primary roles above. •In-charge of payroll budgeting and forecast. •In-charge of HRMS roll out. •Provide suggestions on payroll process enhancements to reduce potential errors and increase efficiency. •Assist on employee on-off boarding process and salary adjustment. •Support tax audits and resolve any tax discrepancies. •Stay updated on changes to Thai labor laws and tax regulations and adjust payroll policies accordingly. •Identify payroll trends and suggest improvements to employee compensation structures.
Qualifications
  1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree/Post Graduate Diploma or professional Degree in any field, preferably in Human Resources
  2. At least 5 years’ work experience in processing end to end payroll which consist of not less than 1,000 employees
  3. Previous experience as an HR Generalist is preferred
  4. Experience in the retail and manufacturing industries is preferred
  5. Experience in establishing a payroll team is preferred
  6. Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  8. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  9. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to attendance, overtime, and social security
  10. Excellent comunication skills to interact with employees and external agencies.
  11. Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  12. Well versed in both Thai and English language
