- Designed, prototyped, and implemented machinery for ceramic production with a focus on automation to enhance speed, accuracy, and consistency - Led teams of mechanical, process, and automation engineers in developing efficient and reliable production equipment - Improved manufacturing methods to reduce cycle time, boost efficiency, and enhance product quality through advanced forming, drying, glazing, and firing techniques - Optimized production layouts and material handling systems to reduce waste and streamline operations - Developed and implemented semi-automated and fully automated ceramic production lines - Upgraded core processes such as molding, casting, glazing, and finishing with tailored automation solutions - Conducted feasibility studies and modernized existing machines using the latest automation technologies - Researched and integrated advanced global manufacturing technologies to enhance production capabilities - Managed end-to-end machine development and process improvement projects, ensuring budget and schedule compliance - Coordinated with suppliers and R&D teams to develop high-performance equipment and materials - Performed risk assessments and resolved technical challenges during machine and process implementation - Mentored junior engineers and created training programs to build automation expertise - Developed technical training for engineers and operators to support new machinery and systems - Collaborated with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth system integration - Provided technical recommendations to senior management regarding machinery investments and process upgrades

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or equivalent).
7–10+ years of experience in machine design, process engineering, and automation development within a manufacturing environment.
Skilled in managing full-cycle engineering projects, from concept through to production implementation.
Experience with installation and enhancement of Die Cut, Flexo, and Slotter Scorer packaging machines is an advantage.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proven expertise in designing, fabricating, and commissioning industrial machinery
