Job Descriptions
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison between the company and Thai government agencies (e.g., DIW, Pollution Control Department, FDA, Fire Department), handling inspections, permit applications, and annual renewals. Manage the daily operations of the hazardous chemicals warehouse: goods receiving, storage, inventory control, issue tracking, and maintenance of safety labeling. Handle applications and renewals of permits for hazardous chemicals and warehouse storage—such as BorChor forms, storage licenses—and manage annual reporting. Coordinate and follow up on essential approvals and renewals: Type 2/3 substance registration, renewal every three years, structural approvals of the warehouse, and safety facility compliance. Maintain and organize all relevant documentation: permits, BorChor forms, safety records, MSDS/SDS, and other compliance materials. Submit annual reports (BorChor.6) on schedule—typically before March 31 (extended to August 31 during transitional years)—via the DIW online system. Support site safety inspections, emergency drills, and incident reporting. Conduct safety training for warehouse personnel and ensure proper use of PPE, explosion-proof equipment, and spill containment systems.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Holder of Thai or internationally recognized hazardous chemicals handling/storage certification (e.g., BorChor certificate).
  3. More than 1 year of experience in chemical or hazardous chemicals warehousing and government docking.
  4. Familiar with OSH method, HAZOP, classification and storage regulations of hazardous chemicals; proficient in Office software and online licensing system operation.
  5. Strong knowledge of Thailand’s Hazardous Substance Act, DIW notifications (e.g., Storage Notification 2551), and Type 2/3 chemical licensing requirements.
  6. Excellent organizational and documentation skills, capable of independently managing permit renewals and annual compliance procedures.
  7. Priority will be given to candidates who are proficient in Chinese or English.
