Job DescriptionsTechnical Support:
- Provide timely support to retail users via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and fix hardware/software issues (POS, terminals, PCs, etc.).
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software.
User Assistance and Onboarding:
- Help onboard users: prep laptops, set emails, activate cards.
- Guide staff through IT issues with clear solutions.
- Create/update user guides and tech documentation.
- Conduct training to improve IT skills.
- Set up user accounts with correct permissions.
System Maintenance:
- Perform routine system maintenance and updates.
- Repair and maintain hardware and networks.
- Monitor system performance and security.
- Manage backups and data recovery.
Network and Security Support:
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and internet issues in stores.
- Support network setup (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Enforce network security and respond to incidents.
- Support cybersecurity policies and protocols.
POS Systems and Retail Equipment Support:
- Support POS hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Work with POS vendors on updates and fixes.
- Ensure POS integrates with other systems.
- Install IT and security equipment in stores.
- Assist with HQ access and CCTV systems.
Asset and Vendor Management:
- Track and manage IT assets and licenses.
- Help procure IT equipment and software.
- Maintain inventory and ensure policy compliance.
- Coordinate with suppliers for IT needs.
- Order/replace parts as needed.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work with IT, retail, and other teams on goals.
- Join IT projects and offer tech support.
- Stay current on software and system updates.
- Provide documentation and reports.
- Follow SOPs for escalating unresolved issues.
