Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and reliable IT & Electronics Support Officer to manage and maintain the digital infrastructure across our cluster of mall, hotel, and real estate properties. This role includes daily IT support, oversight of electronic systems (CCTVs, people counters, sound systems, LED screens, cinema AV, etc.), and managing data flow from operational platforms such as POS systems into reporting tools like Looker.
This is a cluster-based role, and the successful candidate will be expected to travel between properties to provide on-site support, oversee installations, and ensure systems run smoothly across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide first-line technical support for staff (laptops, printers, POS systems, Wi-Fi, etc.)
2.Manage software installations, updates, and troubleshooting for all work devices
3. Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV systems, people counters, parking systems, and other electronics
4. Extract and integrate sales and operational data from POS systems into BI tools such as Looker
5. Coordinate and oversee the installation of new electronic systems (e.g., access control, digital signage)
6. Monitor system performance and conduct preventive maintenance
Ensure secure access, regular backups, and basic cybersecurity best practices
7. Maintain inventory and documentation of all IT and electronic assets
Respond promptly to technical issues, including after-hours emergencies if necessary
8. Support the integration of TV channels and other system-wide media requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of IT support experience, ideally within retail or hospitality sectors
- Experience with POS systems and BI/reporting tools like Looker (or willingness to learn)
- Familiarity with networking, system integration, and light electrical work (e.g., CCTV, sensors)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally across departments and sites
