Job Descriptions
We are seeking an experienced Global Procurement Specialist responsible for sourcing suppliers worldwide, negotiating contracts, and optimizing procurement costs while ensuring quality and compliance. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, risk management, and market analysis to support business operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Supplier Sourcing: Identify, assess, and establish relationships with potential suppliers globally. Foster strong partnerships to enhance the procurement network. - Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, focusing on favorable terms and conditions. Ensure compliance with legal and company regulations. - Cost Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement costs without compromising quality. Regularly analyze costs and identify opportunities for savings. - Import (Food & Ingredients): Manage the end-to-end process of importing food products and ingredients from international suppliers. - Shipping Coordination: Manage and coordinate international shipping processes. Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. - Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to guarantee that procured goods and services meet the required quality standards. - Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with the global supply chain. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions. - Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, pricing, and availability of goods and services. Provide insights and recommendations based on comprehensive market analysis. - Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in global procurement.
  3. Proven experience in global procurement in Food and Beverage business.
  4. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  5. Analytical mindset with proficiency in cost analysis and market research.
  6. Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  8. Proficient in procurement software and tools.
