Job DescriptionsThis role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards. The goal is to reduce quality-related costs, increase customer satisfaction, and maintain strict adherence to all quality procedures and processes. The role also includes verifying incoming materials meet specifications, addressing quality concerns promptly to avoid customer impact, and supporting new product launches to ensure production reliability. Working closely with the team, the role promotes continuous improvement, defect prevention, and reduction of variation and waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all quality-related issues within manufacturing, including those involving internal teams, suppliers, customers, and warranty claims.
Handle customer complaints, problem-solving, cost recovery, warranty issues, and customer quality audits in a timely manner.
Identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective, long-term corrective actions.
Collaborate with both internal departments and external partners to resolve quality issues quickly, ensuring safety and compliance are never compromised.
Conduct product and process audits to maintain quality assurance.
Ensure quality control plans and related documents are properly implemented and regularly updated.
Track and report on key quality performance metrics, such as scrap rates, rework volumes, and PPM (parts per million) data.
Authorize production stoppage if unacceptable product or processes are identified.
Support compliance with ISO 9001 and assist in maintaining the Quality Management System.
