Job Descriptions
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee, coordinate, and communicate all aspects related to suppliers, ensuring mutual understanding and fulfillment of quality standards, fostering a win-win partnership.
* Provide technical expertise and advice to maintain or enhance Bernina’s product quality.
* Collaborate with the Strategic Procurement team, Quality Supplier Engineer, and Engineers from Switzerland.
* Regular travel to local suppliers is required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
- Proficient in plastic injection process technology.
- Experience in mold design for plastic injection.
- Several years of experience in a production environment with plastic injection processes.
- Ability to manage supplier quality performance and provide technical guidance to ensure product/process compliance.
- Skilled in leading projects involving defect root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Experience working in and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings/specifications, metrology (GTD).
- Experience as a project leader.
- Knowledgeable in process analysis, statistical process control, and quality assurance.
- Reliable and capable of independent work.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365.
