Job Descriptions

1. Job Purpose : Ensure the secure, efficient, and timely delivery of goods to their destination, with full control over the logistics process from start to finish. 2. Reporting Line : You will report directly to the Head of Sales. 3. Key Responsibilities -Plan and coordinate transportation activities from the point of origin to the final delivery destination. -Manage and prepare all related documentation including packing lists, shipping instructions, invoices, and vessel confirmations – ensuring all documents are accurate and complete. -Monitor and track shipments through various logistics channels to ensure timely delivery. -Negotiate and manage freight rates and other transportation-related costs to support cost-efficient operations. -Handle the dispatch of goods according to assignment, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth operations. -Comply with all safety standards and organizational procedures, including applicable legal and industry standards. 4. Special Duties -Take charge of tasks related to customs and tax card handling to ensure smooth import/export processes. 5. Tools and Systems -Daily use of Microsoft Office tools for communication and documentation. -Application of ISO 9001 basic principles to maintain quality compliance. 6. Qualifications and Requirements -Bachelor’s degree in any field. -At least 2 years of experience in a Logistics or Supply Chain function. -Proficient in Microsoft Office. -Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
