Job Descriptions
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a general contractor in the construction industry, we rely on efficient procurement to support our projects. The successful candidate will assist in the sourcing, purchasing, and management of materials and services required for a wide range of construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of procurement processes to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 1. Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services for projects. 2. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors and suppliers. 3. Maintain and update procurement records, purchase orders, and inventory management. 4. Assist in tracking and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites. 5. Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and other departments to ensure material requirements are met. 6. Review and manage procurement documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and project specifications. 7. Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards. 8. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies for mitigation. 9. Support any other procurement-related tasks as required. This position provides a great opportunity to grow and gain hands-on experience in procurement within the construction industry, all while working with a dedicated and experienced team.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  2. 1+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the construction industry.
  3. Proficient in using English for written and verbal communication.
  4. Strong negotiation skills and experience working with suppliers and contractors.
  5. Knowledge of construction materials, pricing, and logistics.
  6. Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Familiarity with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
