- Perform backend testing for software applications, ensuring data integrity and system logic. - Design, develop, and execute API test cases using relevant tools. - Conduct database testing, specifically with Oracle, to validate data accuracy and consistency. - Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and identify potential testing gaps. - Identify, document, and track software defects, working with the development team for resolution. - Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
2+ years of experience as a Software Tester, QA Engineer
Proven experience in Backend Testing and API Testing.
Proficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Solid experience with Oracle Database and the ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
Experience working in the Financial or Banking domain (e.g., core banking, payment, accounting systems).
Understanding of basic financial/accounting concepts and how they apply to software testing (e.g., transaction processing, data reconciliation).
