Job DescriptionsAs a Head Waiter, your role will be to assist the management with ensuring the standard of service is maintained throughout the restaurant, attending to guests' requirements and assisting with the daily operation of the restaurant.
•Ensure guest orders are taken efficiently and passed onto the kitchen in a timely manner, passing on all guest requirements including allergy details
•Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the full menu and a good understanding of the wine list
•Supervise the restaurant and mis-en-place and to liaise with the Team to ensure a smooth, professional level of service
•Ensure precise communication with the kitchen regarding menu changes, availabilities and specials
•Effectively manage complaints from guests appropriately with support from the Assistant Manager
•Ensure the presentation standards of the team meet the restaurant requirements
•Ensure all waiter stations are managed and duties allocated according, including monitoring the silver count and performing stock takes as required
•Ensure new starters are fully trained and integrated into the restaurant team
