Job Descriptions
The Service Engineer/Technician for Automation Machines is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and providing technical support for automated machinery installed in industrial environments. This role involves diagnosing issues, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software problems, and optimizing machine performance. The technician/engineer will also provide guidance and training to customers on machine operation and maintenance. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: •Install, inspect, maintain, and repair automation machines both on-site and remotely. •Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in automation machinery. •Perform calibration and configure machine parameters for optimal performance. •Provide customer training and consultation on machine operation and preventive maintenance. •Collaborate with design engineers, support teams, and customers to enhance machine efficiency. •Document maintenance records, report issues, and suggest improvements to relevant departments. •Respond to customer service requests and provide technical support according to SLA (Service Level Agreement). •Ensure compliance with safety standards and customer-specific requirements. •Stay updated on the latest automation technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
  1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in automation machine maintenance or industrial systems.
  3. Knowledge of PLC systems, Servo Motors, Robotics, HMI, and various sensors.
  4. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics for troubleshooting.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  7. Willingness to travel for on-site service and possess a valid driver’s license.
  8. Experience with leading automation brands such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, and Allen-Bradley is a plus.
  9. Preferred Skills (Optional):
  10. Experience in PLC programming, SCADA, Robotics, or Vision Systems.
  11. Ability to use measuring instruments and calibration tools.
  12. Certification in safety standards or automation maintenance
