Responsibilities - Set up and operate Femto Second Laser machines for micro machining, cutting, drilling, and engraving high-precision parts. - Create and modify part designs using Rhinoceros (Rhino 3D) for laser path and cutting patterns. - Prepare CAD/CAM files, perform nesting to optimize material utilization and machining efficiency. - Develop or adjust G-code / machine scripts to suit different materials (metals, ceramics, polymers) and achieve desired tolerances. - Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications (dimensional accuracy, surface quality, heat-affected zone, taper). - Collaborate with Design and R&D teams to develop new processes or resolve production issues. - Maintain detailed production records and support preventive maintenance schedules for Laser / Wire Cut equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating Femto Laser or Wire Cut EDM machines.
Proficient in Rhinoceros (Rhino 3D) or similar CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
Able to interpret technical drawings and GD&T standards.
Hands-on experience with G-code programming and CNC operations.
Experience with ultra-short pulse lasers, micro-machining or high-precision fabrication is an advantage.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a collaborative mindset to work with R&D and Production teams.
