Job Descriptions

Purpose of job: To manage the mold maintenance section to maintenance, improve & repair production molds to achieve the optimum running condition of the mold. In charge of new mold fabrication to support production. Principle job responsibilities: 1.Plan and execute routine maintenance, repair and servicing of Production molds 2.Debug & improve new molds from FOT state to qualify for mass production. 3.Provide technical support to Engineering Department in term of mold design. 4.Update molds preventive maintenance records & keep track of molds history and molds life. 5.Work with QA to provide and record insert dimension and keep all department informed on the repairs and improvement done on the production molds. 6.Design and fabricate jig and fixture to support Production’ needs 7.Provide continuous improvement plan and suggestion to help Production enhance their molds performance, reduce cycle, better product quality and productivity 8.Provide guidance for improvement and necessary training for improvement Mold Maintain Technician. 9.Comply with all safety practices at work 10.Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline

Qualifications

Diploma holder in mould making or Maintenance Molding Engineering
Minimum 8 years' experience in precision mold making or mould repairing with minimum 3 years in supervisory position
Must be able to operate EDM, milling & grinding machines
Must be able to trobleshoot mold problems
Dynamic, active and fast work and troble to work under pressure
Knowledge in ISO 9001 / 14001 / IATF 16949 is a plus
