Suntai Chemicals Co., Ltd. was established in June 1959 with a capital investment of 12 million baht. In the year 2006, it has increased to 84 million baht with the main objective of producing and distributing Sulphuric Acid. It is located at 29 km Sukhumvit road with an area of 20 rai. In addition, there was a consensus among shareholders that an expansion in the production capacity is essential for company growth; however, TAI was established for many years with a limited space. With this constrain, we intended to establish a new factory adopting high technology that not only save energy but is environmentally friendly as well.
Additionally, Shareholders of TAI bought a piece of land for 50 rai at Rayong for constructing a new factory under a name of Suntai Chemicals Co., Ltd. aiming to produce Sulphuric Acid ( capacity 200 metric ton per day which have value approximate 200 million baht) and other chemicals.and expects to be completed in 2010. The company is established with a capital investment of 25 million baht. This new factory is located approximately 10 kilometers away from MAP TAPHUT INDUSTRIAL ESTATE
Partners:
Shareholders of TAI had formed an oversea partnership with PT. Indonesia Acids Industry Limited since 1972. At present, the company has Sulphuric Acid production capacity of 200 metric ton per day and already was certified with ISO 9001:2000.
