Job Descriptions
- Manage and oversee the mechanical engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and on-time project delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in the mechanical engineering operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address maintenance and repair needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the proper functioning of all mechanical systems
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to track the team's progress and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards
- Participate in the development and implementation of new projects, providing technical expertise and input
- Mentor and train junior members of the mechanical engineering team to support their professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles, systems, and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in the use of relevant engineering software and tools Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
