Job Descriptions
Responsibilities : - Installing or upgrading Database Servers (both OS and Database level). - Monitor database health, performance and capacity planning - Optimize SQL queries, indexing and execution plans. - Implement backup, disaster recovery and high availability solutions. - Test backups/Restores to ensure we can meet the Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) the database server. - Automate database administration tasks using scripting (PowerShell, bash, python). - Ensure security, compliance and access control for databases. - Ensures the integrity of database files through the daily monitoring of database backups, logs, and transaction statistics. - Support troubleshooting, incident management and database migrations. - Testing system per regulatory or client change request. - Standby 24x7 on-call customer support in case related databases.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  2. DBA (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MongoDB) (2) System Admin (On Premise/On Cloud) (3) Cloud Operation (Azure, AWS)
  3. Manage, optimize and secure Database server (Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL Server, My SQL, Maria DB etc.)
  4. 3-4 years of experience as a Database Administrator working with S3L server, Operation System : Linux (Ubuntu or Red hat), Virtualization :VMware, Micro service :
  5. Knowledge of SQL Transactional, and stored procedures, indexes, index management, and statistics.
  6. Hands-on experience in backup/recovery strategies and database replication techniques.
  7. Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments for database administration.
  8. Understanding of database monitoring tools and query performance profiling
  9. Highly service-minded, great sense of responsibility with active and analytical mindset.
  10. Experience with Performance Tuning, and Query Optimization.
  11. Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, Memory, I/O, Disk space and other resource contention.
