Job Descriptions
•Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams. •Use statistical models and demand planning software to create short-term and long-term forecasts. •Continuously monitor and adjust forecasts in response to changes in market conditions, customer demand, and promotional activities. •Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to gather input for demand planning. •Ensure alignment between demand forecasts and business objectives, including inventory targets and sales goals. •Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to review and adjust demand plans. •optimize inventory turnover rates and reduce carrying costs while maintaining service levels. •Analyze demand data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related supply chain role.
  3. Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or dedicated demand planning tools
  4. Strong analytical skills, with experience in statistical forecasting models and demand planning software.
