Job Descriptions
Job Purpose: We seek a "Process Improvement Engineer" to lead initiatives to resolve production issues and enhance product quality. This role is pivotal in analyzing recurring Production Issue Detections (PIDs), identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to optimize manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and Resolve Production Issues. Investigate and analyze PIDs to determine root causes. • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues. • Quality Enhancement. Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure processes meet quality standards. Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) or WIs • Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work closely with production, Quality department, and Engineering teams to implement process changes. • Data Analysis and Reporting. Utilize statistical analysis tools to monitor process performance. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied sciences or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Automotive or jewelry would be advantageous).
  3. Proven track record of leading process improvement projects and implementing solutions.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Proficiency in process improvement tools and methodologies (e.g., PDCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  7. Proficiency in English, can work with non-Thai speakers.
  8. This position must work 6 days a week during the probation period of 119 days, then will consider Saturday off from 1 or 2 days a month later.
